The melody and feeling space of this song came to me in a dream, where a multi-generational gathering of people were trying to decide what to sing, and several kids piped up: The Morning Song! Everyone knew the song, and we all launched into it with great spirit.

I imagine signing it in a tent at dawn while snuggling with some little ones.

It works well as a vocal warm-up, modulating up and down the scale, and then you can launch it as a round: 2 or 3 parts sound lovely.
